Wesley \u0026quot;Wes\u0026quot; Tarr was ushered into heaven peacefully at his home with his family all around him on Monday evening, December 22 in Milwaukie, OR at a blessed age of 90. Wes is survived by his loving wife Opal of 72 years together. Their children Dick, Dennis, Rositta, and Ben; He was also loved by many grandchildren and great-grand children totaling 43. Surviving Sisters, Marlene Purkey and Ethelda \u0026quot;Sally\u0026quot; Fee. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Wanita Tarr in Minot ND, sisters Viola Graffis , Irene McMenemy and brother Hurthue Tarr. Wes was born on Feb 19, 1924 in Walcott ND to Ben \u0026amp; Rose Tarr. Wes lived in Milwaukie Oregon area for over 60 years. He worked in farming/ carpentry in his early years, then moved to OR where he worked in transporting trucks, and then went back to self-employed Carpentry in many places around the Portland/ Milwaukie areas, and finished working lovingly and devotionally at Bob\u0027s Red Mill. Wes was a great encouragement and spiritual support for his children, generations of grandchildren and church family as a living example and financial support to glorify the Lord. Wes and Opal enjoyed traveling in their RV, he also liked working on antique tractors \u0026amp; cars, hunting \u0026amp; fishing with family. A funeral and burial is scheduled for family members on Monday, December 29 at his church in Milwaukie. Celebration of life service will be held at Hope Community Church, 14790 Boones Ferry Road, Lake Oswego on Saturday, January 3 at 1:00 pm, all are welcome to attend.
