Virginia Diane Hammersmith

Virginia Hammersmith passed away on October 1, 2016. Born on April 24, 1937, in Anderson Indiana, she is survived by her three children, Kathy, Mark and David, and her five grandchildren Luke, Christopher, Matthew, Daniel and Kari. Virginia was an active member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Delta Xi Chapter, a local chapter, of a Philanthropic sorority for over 40 years. Through this organization she developed lifelong friendships and served the community. Virginia loved to bake and was an avid reader. Her home was the central gathering place for family at the holidays. She has left an indelible mark on family and friends and will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held, to further honor her, date and pace to be announced."",
