Violet Hoselton

Born Violet Valentine, in Liverpool, England. She grew up during th depression and the German bombing of that port city during WW2. Educated as a day student at Blackburne House High School for Girsl in Liverpool (opened in 1844 and first of its kind, a boarding school noted for high quality education), then worked in banking, insurance, and a hotel reception in Liverpool and London, England, and Salem, Oregon. Earned her BS in Elementary Education at Oregon State University in 1972, then taught grades 2 thru 5 in Portland Public Schools until 1986, when she was diagnosed with Alzhemier\u0027s disease. She passed away at Rose Linn Care Center, West Linn, OR. Violet is survived by two duaghters, Leslie Jayne Valentine and April Heather Hardman, from her marriage of 1955 thru 1969 with Peter Hardman. Then married to Gary A. Hoselton from 1972 thru 1987. Gary remained her trustee until her death. At her request no services are to be held."",
