Violet Frances Harms 92 of Quartzsite, AZ was born to eternal life May 12, 2017 at home. She was born Nov. 1, 1924 to Herman & Ellen Coffman in Green Castle, MO.
After High School she worked in Washington D.C. as a secretary where she met and married Ralph Harms of Milwaukee, WI on Oct. 4, 1943. They made their home in Milwaukee, WI after Ralph's Naval Reserve time during WWII. They retired to Milwaukie, OR in 1987 & later Violet moved to Quartzsite, AZ to live with her daughter Frances.
Violet was preceded in death by her sisters, Beulah Murphy & Golda Magoon; daughter, Ellen Harms & husband, Ralph Harms of 60 yrs. She's survived by daughters, Frances Rupe & Karen (Randy) Klopatek; sons, Michael (Norma) Harms & Joseph Harms; 5 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren. She was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed.
