Victoria Rose Lietzke Culkins, 81, a resident of the Oregon City community died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 of pulmonary fibrosis, at the Clackamas Rehab Center. A Funeral Mass was held Monday, June 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Milwaukie, Oregon with Reverend Maxy D\u0027Costa as celebrant. Private Family Interment will be held at Willamette National Cemetery, Friday, July 1, 2011 @ 1:30 pm in Portland, Oregon. Family and Friends are attended a pizza reception immediately following the services at the Parish Center. Victoria Rose Sinopoli was born July 20, 1929 in Bayonne, New Jersey to Antonio and Marianna (Pierre) Sinopoli. She was raised and educated there, having graduated from high school in 1947. She worked for several years after school to help support her family. Vicky was united in marriage to Erich Lietzke in 1956 and they moved to Oregon City, Oregon. They celebrated thirty-five years of life together and raised four children before he preceded her in death in 1991. She met her sailor at a USO Club in Bayonne, NJ. Over the years she was a busy wife, mother and homemaker as well as working as a book keeper. She worked at the Elks Lodge for many years. She was an active member of the Catholic Church all of her life. Victoria was Italian and she loved to cook. She was best known for her pizza and cinnamon rolls having made the dough from scratch every time. She was blessed to find a second man with whom she spent her sunset years. She and Stanley Culkins met through a church singles group. They were married on May 29, 1993 and celebrated eighteen years of marriage just last month. Among her personal interests she loved flowers. Vicky had a vegetable garden when the children were young and she did lots of canning and freezing. In the 1990\u0027s she went back to school attending accounting classes at Clackamas Community College. She and Stanley loved to travel. She has been to Greece, Germany, Italy, and Spain, as well as Alaska, Hawaii, and cruises to the Carribean. Vicky was preceded in death by her sister, Christina Sesito, her son in law, Kenneth Anderson in June of 2010, twin infant granddaughters, Katie and Kimberely Lietzke. Survivors include her husband, Stanley Culkins of Oregon City, children; Barbara Anderson of Vancouver, Wa, Mark and Cheryl Lietzke of Oregon City, Merrelann and Benjamin Nelson of Gladstone, Dona and Gary Norlander of Portland, as well as three step children; Michael, Shannon and Tim, brothers; Guido Joseph Sinopoli of Florida, Steven Sinopoli of New Jersey, sister, Mary Layfield of Georgia, and brother, Tony Sinopoli of Florida. Also surviving are tweleve grandchildren; including Kristi and Jeremy Goodwin of Vancouver, Wa, Kenny Anderson of Mississippi, Tara Vicars, Bryan and Audrey Lietzke of Kentucky, Danae Lietzke, Dominic and Katie Nelson, Tianna Nelson, and Reed Norlander, great grandchildren; Makayla, and Isaac Lietzke. The family suggests that remembrances may be contributions made to the American Lung Association in her memory. Please check back for updates and video tributes."",
