Tammy J. Tamashiro, 50, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 6, 2014, in Vancouver, Washington.
Originally from Hawaii, Tammy graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1986. She was an international flight attendant for Delta Airlines and lived in the Portland area for 29 years.
Tammy is survived by her mother, Barbara J, Tamashiro of Honolulu; her beloved son, Matthew Miller, 20, of the Portland area; her aunts, Chieko Nakama and Patsy Oshiro, of Honolulu; several cousins, and extended family and friends around the world.
Tammy was beautiful, inside and out. The world will be a little quieter and dimmer without her infectious laugh and her bright smile.
