Steven Donald Stow, 56, a resident of the Milwaukie community died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Hospice Care Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2011 @ 11:00AM, at Peake Funeral Chapel, 1925 SE Scott Street in Milwaukie, Oregon. The family is requesting that everyone wear Hawaiian apparel to the service in honor of Steves\u0027 love of the Islands. Private Burial Rites were held at the Mountain View Cemetery in Oregon City. Steven Donald Stow was born October 6, 1955 in Riverside, California to Alvin Newman and Romona Hoffer. He was raised and educated in California and Alaska. Following his education he was married to Rebecca and they raised two children, Steven and Lisa. They were later divorced. Steve moved around a bit over the years. He spent nine years living in Hawaii and always talked about moving back there. He worked occasionally as a hair stylist. He loved music, sunshine and palm trees. He moved into the Milwaukie community to be near his family and friends. Survivors include his son Steven Scott and wife Jamie of Milwaukie, his daughter, Lisa Fox of Canby, Oregon, aunts; Trudy and Nita, also surviving are four grandchildren; Larissa, Tino, Mercedes, and Brody. The family suggests that remembrances may be contributions made to benefit the homeless in our community."",
