Steven Eric Rousslang was born on October 26, 1954 to Arnold A. Rousslang and Catherine E. Rousslang (nee Bieringer) in Portland, Oregon. He passed away on October 19, 2017 after a short, but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He grew up in Carver, Oregon where he lived with his family on the banks of Clear Creek at Wilsada Park. He was a happy, optimistic boy. He attended Carver Elementary and Clackamas High School. Steve, along with business partners developed an important recipe for Kombucha tea, a popular beverage. His recipe is considered one of the best of its kind. Steve had an enduring interest in the healing arts, loved music, had a wonderful ability to tell jokes, and was a very loving and generous person. He was an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church. He is survived by his two brothers, Donald Rousslang (wife Annie) of Honolulu, Kenneth Rousslang (wife Mary Magee) of Gig Harbor, Washington, and his son Christopher Desvoigne Rousslang of Happy Valley, Oregon, along with nieces and nephews Kay, Lee, Nikki and Zach. Important people in Steve\u0027s life include Dawn Lisa Desvoigne of Happy Valley (mother of Christopher), and her other sons, Charlie, Sean, and David. Doris Lord of Happy Valley was like a mother to him. Steve also had many friends who had known and loved him for years. Steve will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Special thanks go to the staff of Providence Hospice for their kind and professional service. Arrangements by Peake Funeral Chapel of Milwaukie.
