Steven Eugene Pecheos died on Saturday July 22nd after a long battle with cancer.
Steven is survived by his wife, Kim; children, Elena, Miriam, Julia, Jenet, and Jamie; step-daughters, Katherine and Crystal; and grandchildren, Hailey, Kelsey and Devin.
Steven is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as a Marine and earned a Purple Heart.
He grew up in Washington State, the only son of John and Ruby Pecheos, and spent his years as a young adult, traveling the world and studying religion. He raised his children in Albany, Oregon where he was a member of the local American Legion Post and VFW. In recent years he has resided with his wife Kim, in Clackamas, Oregon. Steven was also an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Steven was always looking for the next great adventure, and while his family misses him dearly, they know it was time for his next to begin.
