Stephen Anthony Bross

Stephen Anthony Bross of Portland passed away July 26, 2009 at the age of 62. Stephen was born February 22, 1947 in Portland, Oregon to Joseph and Loraine Bross. He attended the Milwaukie Schools, and enjoyed many sports particularly Track and field in his youth. As a runner he was a talented AAU Junior Olympics competitor where he received many ribbons and awards. He graduated from high school and went on to attend college where he earned his Bachelor\u0027s Degree. He had several jobs in his lifetime, but was most fond of working as a sale representative in the health field. Stephen was married to Catherine Haltrup and had 3 children, Zachary, Ben and Genevieve Bross. They later divorced. Stephen\u0027s children were the center of his world always, and he made that known to everyone. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Wednesday, August 5 at 7 o\u0027clock in the evening inside St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Milwaukie, Oregon. A Memorial Mass will be held the following morning, Thursday, August 6th,2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the church. A reception will follow. Concluding Services and Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Tigard, Oregon. Stephen is lovingly survived by his 3 children, 5 siblings, Charlotte Dahrmann, Mary Thompson, Carol Bross, Mark Bross and Michael Bross and many other extended relatives and friends.
