Stella Anna Boyle, 89, a resident of the Milwaukie community died Sunday evening, February 6th, 2011 at her home following a brief illness. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Peake Memorial Chapel, 1925 SE Scott Street, Milwaukie, Oregon. Family and Friends are invited to attend a reception immediately after the services. Private Interment will be held at St. James Catholic Cemetery in McMinneville on Monday, February 21,2011. Stella was born December 7, 1921 in Mt. Angel, Oregon to the late Michael George and Bertha Marie Faulhaber Hopfer. Stella was one of eight children, she was raised and educated in St. Paul. Following her education she began working as a switchboard operator. Many of those years were spent at Providence Portland Hospital. She also spent a few years at White Stag and Bernard Motors. Stella was united in marriage to Robert Boyle on September 28, 1962 in Vancouver, Washington. They celebrated forthy-eight years of life together. Among her personal interests Stella enjoyed golfing and bowling. She liked to sew and do crocheting. She was a life long member of the Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her husband Robert Boyle, three sisters; Annie Smith of Dallas, Oregon, Bertha Crecraft of Johnson City, Oregon and Velma Erpelding of Mt. Angel, Oregon, as well as many nieces and nephews."",
