She then went on to attend Northern State University in South Dakota where she received a scholarship and played soccer with Summer and Skyler for one year. After this, she transferred to Eastern Oregon University where she also played soccer on scholarship and then ultimately went on to graduate from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. Two of her greatest accomplishments were meddling in the Pentathlon at Junior Olympic Nationals and making the Regional Olympic Developmental Soccer Team. Starlin's vivacious spirit and hard work ethic helped her succeed in multiple healthcare positions. Her most recent and fulfilling job was at Springdale Job Corps. It was here that she built strong relationships helping students feel empowered to thrive in the real world. Her greatest accomplishment came on December 17th, 2013 when her only child Tatum Wilbur Swan was born. Starlin was an amazing and dedicated single mother. It is through Tatum's eyes that we get to see her spirit live on daily. She is survived by her parents Michael and Tammy Swan, sisters: Sonny Waechter, Summer Jark, and Skyler Swan, son: Tatum Wilbur Swan, Grandpa: Charlie Swan and Grandma: Lydia Hubbard. She is also survived by brother in laws, multiple nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. This young lady was truly the shining "star" wherever she went.
