Sidney Allen Smith

Sidney Allen Smith,89, a resident of the Milwaukie community passed away on December 23rd, 2011 surrounded by his family. Sid was born November 13, 1922 in Council, Idaho. He went to Salem High School, and, after graduating, served his country as a member of the United States Navy. After returning to Oregon, Sid spent a number of years as an Oregon State Trooper. More recently, he worked as a fleet manager for Ford Motor Co. Sidney is survived by his wife, Burnice Smith of Milwaukie; and his 3 daughters, Cynthia Jones of Salem, Sydney Carter of Portland, and Liza Arquit of Portland. Private Cremation Rites have been held and a private Inurment with Military Honors will be held at, a later date at, Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon."",
