Retired Sgt. 1st Class Eugene Jonas "Geno" Ordaz passed away peacefully March, 6th 2015 at Willamette Valley Medical Center with family nearby.
He was born February 16th, 1941 in Kimberly, Idaho to Felix "Phil" Ordaz and Bernice Bates. Eugene served in the US Army, retiring after 21 years of service in 1978. Eugene did a tour in Vietnam from 1970-1971. He was married to Marie Ames Ordaz for 54 years. Eugene loved the Oregon Ducks, Nascar, Army Football, and the Oregon Coast.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Marie Ames Ordaz; two children, Norm Ordaz and wife, Meg of Lafayette, Ore. and Ann Hancock and husband, Dave of McMinnville, Ore. and two grandchildren, Sami and Connor Whitmore.
