Rose Helen Gaddis was born April 3, 1918 to Henry Kuffel and Mary Popowski in McKenna, Washington. She left us Monday, January 11, 2010 at her home, Deerfield Village, surrounded by family. Rose lived most of her adult life in Portland and worked for Pacific NW Bell retiring at 59 as a chief operator with 29 years of service. She spent her leisure time doing crafts, gardening, bowling, hunting and fishing with her husband Dell and friends. Family events always involved her favorite pastime, playing cards which she usually won. Rose was preceded in death by her 12 siblings and husband, Dell. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Van Wart Isaac and son-in-law Joseph A. Isaac; grandchildren - Ann, Joe, Brad and Patty; and 7 great-grandchildren - Joe III, Nick, Hannah, Sarah, Kaitlyn, Kelcy, and Emily; and her companion of 26 years, Clark Junor. Public viewing Friday, January 15 from 2-5 pm at Peake Memorial Chapel, Milwaukie. Rose\u0027s celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 16 at 1:00 pm, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Milwaukie with viewing prior to service.
