Ron was called home on June 13th, 2021, in Milwaukie, OR at the age of 75.
Ron was born on April 20th, 1946, to Ben and Inga Rodden in Big Timber, Montana. Ron had two brothers, one younger and one older.
In his younger years Ron lived in a small town on the Southern Oregon Coast before later moving to Molalla. Ron attended Molalla High School where he excelled at sports such as football and basketball. Ron spent many years working in sales and as a printer for the Oregonian. Throughout his work history he had the opportunity to live in other states but found Oregon to be his true home. Here in Oregon, he was a loving and caring father to five children, four sons and one daughter. He found great joy going fishing with his sons.
In 1992 he married his loving wife, Norma. For the past 29 years they have shared a special life together in Milwaukie up until his passing. They enjoyed many happy times together throughout the years. They especially loved their long road trips and heading off to the beach together.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Inga Rodden; and his younger brother, Gary Rodden.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Rodden; brother, Dick (Deborah) Rodden; sons, Travis (Reba) Rodden, Jarrel (Jill) Rodden, Seth Rodden and Jayson Rodden; daughter, Shyra Rodden-Castronovo; and 7 grandchildren.
Ron was loved deeply by his family and will be greatly missed.
