Rommel, Robert 90 Aug 29, 1923 July 9, 2014 Rommel, Audrey 88 Mar 3, 1927 October 19, 2015 After a full and rewarding life, our beloved parents, grandparents and great-grandparents are once again together. Long time residents of the Milwaukie area Bob was the only child Harry and Frances Rommel born in Three Rivers, MI. Audrey was the daughter of Fred and Gladys Northcraft born in Portland, OR. Both were long standing members of the St. John\u0027s Catholic Church community. Once retired, they embraced the \u0026quot;Snowbirds\u0026quot; lifestyle and spent 6 months of the year in Mesa, AZ where Bob played golf to his heart\u0027s content and headed the Sunday morning Breakfast Committee. Audrey indulged her love of sewing and learned the arts of woodworking and stained glass creation. But her first love was always the Christmas Decorating Committee. The other 6 months were spent in Milwaukie enjoying the spring and summer months and being Mom and Dad, Grandma Audie and Grandpa and Sally and Papa. They were our light and our love and we will miss them terribly. The public is invited to join their family in a celebration of life at 11am Friday, Dec 4, 2015 at John\u0027s Catholic Church 10955 SE 25th Ave Portland, OR 97222. Interment will follow at 1pm at Willamette National Cemetery 11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd, Portland, OR 97086. Bob and Audrey\u0027s memory lives on in her sister Susan; their daughter Debbie and her husband Gary; sons Bob Jr and Ken; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
