Robert "Bob" Pete Manolis, Jr. passed peacefully at Providence Hospital in Portland, Oregon, due to complications from stage 4 colon cancer and a heart attack, on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the age of sixty.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, he is survived by his wife, Rebecca J. Shrope Manolis; daughter, Sarah Manolis Kantola; sons, Robert Manolis and Ryan Manolis; brother, Richard Manolis; and grandchildren, Paris, Bobby and Laila. He will also be fondly remembered by his first wife, good friend and mother to his sons, Patti Vardanega. He is preceded in death by his sister, Susan Deegan.
The memorial service was beautifully held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Happy Valley, Oregon. Pastor Pete Luedemann officiated the ceremony.
Bob was a Vietnam Veteran, handyman, and all around generous, hardworking, caring and friendly guy. To know him was to love him, and all who truly knew him will greatly miss him.
