Paulette Catherine Paulson

October 7, 1949 — March 18, 2010

On March 18, 2010, Paulette Catherine Paulson, passed from earth to her home in heaven and is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a 3 year battle with cancer. Paulette was born to Peter and Elfriede Samoska October 7,1949 in Oak lawn, Illinois. She was close to her older siblings David, Brother and Phyllis, her sister. In 1957, the family moved to southern California and settled in the San Fernando Valley. There she finished grade school, junior and senior high school. A bachelor in music from CSUN and a paralegal degree in later years. In grade school she started playing the violin and continued with private lessons under the direction of her music teacher. She also gave private lessons. She exhibited her talents by playing in orchestras, recitals, and church choirs. Her talents extended to Europe in 1972 touring with the California State University northridge Chamber Chorale. Her tour included Great Britain, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. Along with her passion with music, Paulette was an avid gardener, and also enjoyed camping and hiking with her family. She was a great soccer mom for the boys. Paulette met her husband Dave Paulson in 1972. They were married on May 21, 1977 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Canoga Park, California. They have 2 sons, Jason and Brian. In January 1993, David, Paulette, Jason and Brian moved to Milwaukie, Oregon. They found Milwaukie was there home filled with numerous friends and enjoyed their home. Paulette was born for Bank of America for many years, and then as a legal assistant in the Multnomah County District Attorney\u0027s Office. She retired from the Multnomah County District Attorney\u0027s Office November 8,2009. Paulette was truly admired and loved by all who met her amd she will be sorely missed by all."",
