Pat was born in Vancouver, WA and was a lifelong Oregonian. She graduated with a 4.0 in 1965 from David Douglas High School and from the University of Oregon in 1969. Pat worked for Cascade Direct for the last 11 years. She is survived by her husband of 32 years Bernard , stepfather Rodney Haight, sisters, Kathy Lite (Bob) and Jeanne Strandholm (Mark) and brother, John Merz (Charmain) and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Stanley Merz, mother Eunice Haight and brother Steven Merz.
