Norma Jean Loney March 28, 1930 - Jan 17, 2011 Norma, 80, passed from this earth the morning of Jan. 17, 2011. to be with the Lord. She was in the loving presence of her family at her home in Milwaukie. Norma Jean was born March 28, 1930. In Council Bluffs, Iowa. She grew up in a family of four sisters and one brother. While in her teens, she met the love of her life, Donald C. Loney, and they married in 1947. They enjoyed a happy marriage of 62 years until Don\u0027s death in 2009. Throughout the years, Norma enjoyed ceramics, bowling, gardening, cooking, and canning peaches and applesauce, making strawberry jam, going to church and Bible study. She also enjoyed family vacations to Utah, Iowa, California, Lake Tahoe and spending three months in the summer at Cannon Beach in the travel trailer. When Don retired in 1982, they spend the next 22 years traveling in their RV to parts of the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Especially dear to her heart were the 22 years of camping trips. Don and Norma took with their grandchildren, and in later years, other family to Timothy Lake every Labor Day weekend. Norma\u0027s biggest joy in life come from her Lord, and being a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; Phenie and Delbert; husband; Don, grandson, Jimmy; sisters, Cora and sandy; brother. Delbert Jr. Norma is survived by her children and heir spouses; Debbie Meyer (Jim) of Lincoln City, Mike Loney (Margee) of Cloverdale, Gayle Beylund (Richard) of Milwaukie and Paula Smith of Milwaukie, grandchildren; Angela Chad, Nicole, Monica, Ryan, Chris, Tessa, Rudy and Myles; and great-grandchildren Jessica, Jason, Jacob, Jordan, Sophie, Emma, Lennox, Kalin, Conner, Rylie, Kylee and Olivia (with two more on the way)! She was loved by many and will be forever in our hearts. The family wishes to express its appreciation to Providence Hospice, all of her wonderful caregivers and Dr. Subra for all their compassion and care. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 25, 2011 in Milwaukie Lutheran Church, 3810 Lake Road Milwaukie, OR 98222. Interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland."",
