Molly Erdman died peacefully in Vancouver, Washington on Wednesday, August 9, 2018 at the age of 103.\u0026nbsp; Molly was born on October 21, 1914 in Portland, Oregon to Jacob and Amalia Erdman who migrated to the United States in 1913.\u0026nbsp; Molly was the third of eight siblings all of whom have now passed away.\u0026nbsp; Molly attended Trinity Lutheran Parochial Grade School and graduated from Commerce High School (Grover Cleveland High School) in 1932.\u0026nbsp; Following graduation she worked in the medical offices of Dr. Uhle.\u0026nbsp; This was followed by successful careers with Oregon Physicians services and Blue Cross Medical Insurance where she became the first woman to work in outside insurance sales in Portland and was highly recognized for her success in sales.\u0026nbsp; While working she took night school college courses in business and medical services.\u0026nbsp; Molly traveled extensively in the U.S. and Europe including a trip to Grimm, Russia where she researched her family history.\u0026nbsp; One of her very moving experiences was seeing the Oberammegau Passion Play in Germany.\u0026nbsp; In 1938 the Erdman family donated a mural, The Lord is my Shepard, to the St. Paul Evangelical \u0026amp; Reformed Church where most of her brothers and sisters where married.\u0026nbsp; This mural was removed in 2015 for restoration and placement in the Library at Concordia University and remains significant to the Erdman families.\u0026nbsp; Molly moved from her home to a family care home in 2008 where she lived until her passing.\u0026nbsp; Molly is survived by her sister-in-law, Lillian Erdman and many nieces and nephews who benefitted from her intellect and time.\u0026nbsp; The family thanks her oldest nephew, Russell Erdman who was her primary caretaker and spent many hours with Molly taking her on excursions and dealing with her personal business needs for many years. \u0026nbsp; \u0026nbsp; To send a flower arrangement or to plant trees in memory of Molly Erdman, please click here to visit our Sympathy Store."",
