Michelle Rae Wilson

March 21, 1970 — February 10, 2017

Michelle Wilson was born Michelle Rae Wollam in Barstow, California.  Two weeks after her birth she moved to Hood River, Oregon with her parents Mike and Betty Wollam where they were from before her Father did a tour of duty in the Army.  Prior to her first birthday the family moved to Milwaukie, Oregon where Michelle lived through her childhood.  She graduated from Milwaukie High School.

After high school she lived in the Portland area with a short time spent in Texas.  In her twenties she settled back in the Milwaukie area where she spent the rest of her time.  Michelle decided she wanted to go to college and graduated with an Associate's Degree and a letter in Gerontology from Clackamas Community College in 2010.  She graduated in 2013 from Portland State University with honors getting a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services.  She wanted to help the elderly and worked at Hollywood Senior Center assisting their clients with housing, transportation and their other needs.  They loved her at the Center for her drive, her dynamic personality and her helpfulness.

Michelle was an exceptional individual that loved her family and her friends.  She and her Mother had a special loving bond that her Mother will carry in her heart forever.  Michelle loved Angela who she raised for a number of years.  Angela has two sons and Michelle will now be the Angel looking over Angela and the boys.  Michelle and Santiago were together for over ten years.  They had a loving relationship.  Santiago would do anything for her and will miss her so much.    The other love of her life was her dog, Boonie.  That dog was her baby and Michelle spoiled her rotten.

Michelle had lots of friends including a special group of friends, Chris, Connie, Laurie and Sheila who call themselves "The Hags".  The girls have been friends since grade school or some from high school.  They have that special bond that has kept them together all these years.  Michelle loved them and their kids.  She was the instigator in so many of their get-togethers, especially when it included baseball.  She loved watching the sport and The Giants which was Michelle's and her Dad's favorite team.  She lost her Dad a year ago and missed him dearly.

Michelle loved all kinds of music, but Van Halen was her favorite.  She had so many interests.  She loved learning, reading, plays and traveling.  She got to go to Egypt, Italy, Switzerland, France and England on trips with her Mother.

Michelle had a huge generous heart, great sense of humor and a caring personality.  She will be missed by everyone that knew her, more than she could ever imagine.
