Michael passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 2nd, just eight days shy of his 66th birthday. Michael had a long career as a truck driver. He proudly served as a United States Marine for nine years and part of his service time was during the Vietnam War. In his free time, Michael loved to overhaul and show old Ford cars. He also loved NASCAR, Dallas Cowboy football and Lakers basketball. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 22 years, Kim. Daughters, Heather Ferguson (Jon) of Woodland, WA and Diane Mays (Andy) of Wichita, KS. Sons Clarence Michael Ransom, and Thomas Lee Ransom. Sister Sandy Sharp of Richmond, Virginia.
