Maxine Lauer

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, August 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. inside Milwaukie Christian Church off of King Road for Laura \u0026quot;Maxine\u0026quot; Lauer. Maxine passed away August 12,2009 at the age of 84. Maxine was born August 1,1925 in Forest Grove, Oregon to Charles and Cora Holroyd. She graduated from Forest Grove High School in June of 1943. She married her sweetheart, Marlo Robert \u0026quot;Bob\u0026quot; Lauer August 5, 1950. She worked for U.S. bank for years. She then went on to owning and operating small grocery stores with her husband until retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, Traveling,crossword puzzles, Reading true adventure stories and country music. She also enjoyed being an active member of Milwaukie Christian Church. She is lovingly survived by her husband Bob, 2 children: Jeana Cooper and Robert Lauer, along with 3 grandkids, and 1 great granddaughter.
