Mavis Craig Grellert passed away April 20, 2016 following a severe stroke a week earlier. After an initial stay at Providence Hospital, she was brought by her family back to her northeast Portland home so she could spend her last hours in the house she had lived in and loved for over 30 years. Mavis was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and moved to Portland with her family after World War II. She graduated from Roosevelt High School. An avid fisherwoman and hunter, Mavis loved the outdoors. With her family, she helped build a cabin in the Wallowa Mountains in the late 1960s and spent many happy days there, roaming forest trails, gathering wild mushrooms and picking huckleberries. Mavis was married to Robert Little, Stuart VanGorder and Ernie Grellert. She is survived by her sons James Little and Brian Little, grandchildren Alicia Kahl, Jeremy Little, Jason Little, and Brandon Little as well as great-grandson Leo Kahl. A memorial service will be held at Rivercrest Community Church, 3201 NE 148th, on Friday, April 29th, at 2pm."",
