Marjorie Elain Keennon was born in Inglewood, California on June 9, 1927. She lived her entire childhood there graduating from Inglewood High School in 1945. She and Norman E Rumery were married in December, 1945 after he returned home from World War II in Europe. In 1957 they moved to Anaheim, California to raise their two children. Marjorie worked for 25 years in the Anaheim Union High School District, retiring in 1987. Upon retirement, she and Norman moved to Oregon City, Oregon in 1988 near their daughter, Linda Carlile. Marjorie passed away May 27, 2013 in Oregon City, Oregon. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman, her brother, Leonard Keennon and her sister, Lucile (Lucy) Keennon. She is survived by her son, Leonard Rumery, of Monticello, Illinois, her daughter, Linda Carlile, of Oregon City, Oregon, her granddaughter, Anne Rumery and two nephews. At her request there will be no services. Donations in her memory are suggested to be made to the animal welfare organization of your choice."",
