Marian Martha Wise

Marian Martha Swanson was born at home on September 26, 1922. Her parents were Charles and Martha Swanson. She was the youngest of their two girls, her older sister was Joan. They lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota.



Marian was the proud mother of two children, Lynne and Chuck. She was so happy to have both a boy and a girl. Her goal in life was to be an excellent mom.



She was a dedicated member of both Woodland Park Baptist and Grace Baptist Church. She wore many different hats; most notably, Marian was involved in various committees. Being a wedding director was a challenging job that she loved doing. She participated in various bible studies, circle groups, hospitality committees, deaconesses, and many more. Marian also volunteered at Portland Adventist Hospital for 30 years. She enjoyed assisting those in need.



Marian is survived by her children, Lynne and Chuck; six grandchildren, Nikki, Jessie, Matthew, Scott, Jenny and Steve; seven great-grandchildren, Theo, Raphaela, Sierra, Mikayla, Austin, Olivia and Charlotte; and finally, two great-great-grandchildren, Ava and Raya! She loved them all!



A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, June 25th, 2023, at Arcadia Senior Living.
