Margaret passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Kathy, having just celebrated her 89th birthday. Margaret was born in Gresham, Neb., the oldest of three children. Her younger brothers, John and Paul, preceded her in death. She graduated from high school in Shelby, Neb., in 1939, and went on to graduate from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Nov. 1945. Margaret\u0027s passion for pinochle was legendary, but any kind of card game would do. She also enjoyed having parties and having friends over for coffee, biscuits, and marmalade. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Larry Hibbs; grandson, Jason; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass will be held at noon Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 10955 S.E. 25th Ave., Milwaukie, OR 97222. A reception will follow the service. Private burial will be in Willamette National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver."",
