Margaret Ann Howton

Margaret Ann Howton was born in Vancouver, WA to Harry and Lena Carter on October 1, 1922. Margaret spent her early life in various cities in South Washington and also Oregon. She graduated from South Salem High School. On January 14, 1943 she married Garth Howton. He passed away in 1996 after 53 years of wedded bliss. Margaret spent her life as a homemaker for her family. She is survived by; daughters Judi Macomber of Milwaukie, OR., Cheryl Nicols of Hoquiam, WA,and Kathy Flint of Milwaukie, OR. Sons; Steven Howton of Milwaukie, OR, and Douglas Howton of Lincoln City, OR.; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Private Inurnment will take place at Willamette National Cemetery. For those who wish, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice."",
