Lyle J. Keehner was born January 1st, 1939, to Alfred and Margaret Keehner of Spokane, Washington. Lyle's family including his two brothers Allen and William moved to Portland, Oregon while Lyle was still attending High School. In 1964 he married the love of his life Mary Patricia, who passed away in 2008. He was the proud father of Kelli Marie Keehner and Kimberly(Keehner) & Bill Cairo all of Milwaukie, Oregon. Lyle spent a large portion of his life in the grocery industry beginning with managing independent grocery stores through out the Portland metro area, eventually becoming the head of the Engineering Department at United Grocers. Lyle assisted his wife in opening her dream business, an antique store Yankee Ingenuity in Sellwood in 1978, and spent 10 years running a successful business. In 1988 Lyle realized his own dream of owning his own specialty foods grocery store, Lake Grove Market. He was always on the cutting edge of how to take a grocery store to the next level by providing one of the first grocery stores with a full gift department as well as a full wine department, staffed with a wine steward, in the Portland area. In 1996, he left the retail side of the grocery industry and began his own specialty foods distributorship. He was well respected by the grocers he called on, since he was well versed in the retail side of the industry as well. Lyle officially retired in 2009, but of course that didn't last long. He then opened an antique store in downtown Milwaukie in 2015, Market on Main. Lyle was a proud member of the Mt. Hood Mustangs and Fords car club where he was able to share his love of Ford Rancheros. He spent many a weekend showing his cars at local car shows and cruise-ins and won numerous awards which only cemented his love of old cars."",
