Lydell was born August 21, 1920 to Marian and Nina Reed in Hubbard, Oregon. He was a lifetime resident of Oregon. He married Nona Neibert on May 25, 1943. They were married for 65 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He is lovingly survived by his wife Nona, his Son Richard Reed and 2 brothers: Donald and Robert Reed. He was a Grandfather to 3 and a Great-Grandfather to 3 also.
