Luella Christine Crain

Luella Christine Caswell Crain was born on February 7, 1924 in Timber Lake, South Dakota to parents John and DeEtte Caswell. She married Robert L. Crain (also from Timber Lake) on December 28, 1948. They moved to Milwaukie, Oregon where they raised 5 children. Luella was a nurse and a homemaker. She ended her career as school nurse at Clackamas High School. Robert, who died in 1976, was an administrator in the North Clackamas School district. Luella died peacefully at home on October 30, 2015. She is survived by her 5 children - Laurie (Don) Price, Debbie Crain, Rob Crain, Dave Crain and Barbara (Roland) Carlson; 5 grandchildren - Michelle (Jeff) Dixon, Jeff (Katie) Price, Ann-Marie Carlson, Allison Carlson and Avery Carlson; 3 great-grandchildren - Kyler Dixon, Mia Dixon and Brandon Price; and her 2 sisters, Gail (Larry) Freeman and Marilee (Wayne) Rowley; and various nieces and nephews, both here and gone on ahead."",
