Loretta Ann Malain, 78, a member of the Milwaukie community died Friday, June 10, 2011 at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. A Family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will take place in Red Bluff next to her infant sister, Teresa, whom she didn\u0027t want to be alone there. Loretta Ann Malain was born September 30, 1932 in Red Bluff, California to Frank and Mary (Joseph) Foley. She moved to the Tri-cities where her family found work during the depression. They moved to Beaverton, Oregon in the late 1940\u0027s where Loretta graduated from Beaverton Union High School in 1951. Later in her life she attended Clackamas Community College taking graphic art classes for a couple of years. As a youngster she was a member of the Catholic Church and most recently attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Milwaukie. Loretta was united in marriage to Robert Malain on May 16, 1952 in Portland, Oregon. Loretta and Robert Divorced in 1977. She raised four children and helped care for her grandchildren. She worked multiple jobs for many years of her life. Loretta worked for Timex in Texas for a short time. Loretta\u0027s favorite career was working as a regional district supervisor for a magazine distribution company during the \u002790\u0027s. Among her personal interests she loved gardening in her yard, going to garage sales and collecting antiques. She had many heirloom pieces of furniture from her extended family. Loretta enjoyed working on her geneology and had traced her family back to the 1600\u0027s. Loretta enjoyed backyard family bbq\u0027s. When possible she loved returning to Red Bluff to attend family reunions. She loved to sew. She made clothes for her children \u0026amp; grandchildren, doll clothes, quilts and many other crafts. She liked to knit and crochet, she was a great cook as well as always being thrifty. She liked camping and trips to the beach. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, her infant sister, Teresa, sisters; Nanette and Patricia Gail, her two brothers; Frank Jr. and Robert Foley, her son, Michael Malain, and her infant grandson, William Robert. Survivors include her daughter, Bobbi and husband, Dennis Oehlkers of Vancouver, Washington, son, Marty Malain of Milwaukie, Oregon, son and daughter in law; Eric (Binky) and Cynthia Malain of Gladstone, Oregon. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Marcie, and husband, Keith, Cory, Rachel, Elizabeth (Elizabeth\u0027s Mother Donna) and David Williamson as well as six great grandchildren; Taylor, Carson, Sydney, Austin, Michael, Katie. Her sister in law, Fannie Lou and niece Frankie, and nephews Johnathon and Clayton were all special to her as well. A special friend, Bill Davis and many loyal nieghbors."",
