Lindy Lindbergh Califf was born in Oregon City, Oregon to Lena and Mervin (Bud) Califf on June 22, 1927. He graduated from Oregon City High School in 1945. After high school, he went into the U.S. Army (at the end of WW II) and served as a medic. Using the GI Bill to fund his college education, he graduated from Lewis and Clark College with a Degree in Mathematics. He was a Master Printer in the Printing trade for his entire career. Lindy was preceded in death by his dear first wife, Frances, and his dear second wife, Teresa. Survivors include his sister, May LeClair (Lloyd), and stepsons, Ken Rousslang (Mary), Donald Rousslang (Annie), Steven Rousslang, and Gary Johnson (Donna). He has five grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He is also survived by close friends Scott McCampbell and Jim and Julie Pool. A true gentleman, Lindy had a wonderful sense of humor. He was tolerant-always finding the good in others; loving; generous; strong-willed; and had great integrity of character. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching sports, and making conversation. He was a loving son, brother, husband, and friend. He will be so greatly missed. Lindy passed away on July 30, 2010 in Milwaukie, Oregon. There will be no public funeral service; a short service with Military Honors will be held at Willamette National Cemetery on Friday, August 13, at 2:00 P.M...
