Kevin Earl Blanchard, 57, passed away on August 1, 2013 at home in Portland, Oregon. He was born on April 27, 1956 in Evanston, Wyoming to Del Mar and Doris Blanchard (Suiter). During his youth, Kevin lived in California, Wyoming, and Portland, Oregon. He attended Marshal High School. He was currently taking classes at Portland Community College where he was working toward a degree in psychology. Some of the places where Kevin worked during his life included Triple A Coffee, The Candy Store, Poppers Supply, and ICE Painting. Kevin\u0027s life-long passion was music. As a member of the band 431, he loved to sing, play bass, and write lyrics. He was currently learning to play the violin. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, tennis, basketball, camping, computers, reading, and spending time with his family. Kevin is survived by his mother Doris Suiter of Portland; his daughters, Tiffany and Jennifer Blanchard of Portland; stepson Michael Souther of Fairview; 5 brothers; 2 sisters; 1 step-brother; and his grandchildren Frank Angel, Ryan Blanchard, and Alexandria Schneider of Portland. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Kevin was preceded in death by his father Del Mar Blanchard, his step-father, and one step-brother. A memorial service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 12 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2013.
