Kenneth Dean Kading

Kenneth D. Kading age 87, passed peacefully in Milwaukie, OR on December 10th, 2014. Born December 13, 1926 in Casey Iowa to Fred and Barbara Kading. Ken lived in several cities such as San Francisco, Sacramento and Fremont California, Portland and Milwaukie Oregon. Ken worked for the City of Portland until he retired. Ken was a member of New Hope Community church for over 30 years and he helped found New Life Victorious a recovery program. An Elks and American Legion member who also worked with Volunteers Involved for The Emotional Well-Being of Seniors (VIEWS) and Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). Ken loved his family and friends, fishing, bowling and his popcorn and ice cream! Survivors include his daughter Frances of Portland, OR and son Tim of Milwaukie, OR and his grandchildren Bryce, Madison, Jaren and many close personal friends. Ken was preceded in death by his brothers Glen, Eldon, and sisters Grace and Ruth. His memorial service will be held at New Hope Community church on Saturday January 31st at 3pm with a reception to follow.
