Kenneth James Juhr

Kenneth James Juhr passed away Nov. 16, 2011 in a local Hospital. He was born to Fred and Lillian Juhr, December 29, 1924, in Portland, OR. He served our country as a member of the United States Navy, during World War 2. On December 5, 1947 he was joined in marriage to Norma Jean Kennedy. Together, they had 2 children, James and Barbara. Kenneth owned and operated Juhr \u0026amp; Sons General Contractors. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Lown. Survivors include; his wife of 63 years, Norma Jean Juhr, Son; James Juhr; 2 grandchildren, Ryan and Casey Lown; and 1 great-grandchild, Hayden Lown. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23rd, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Peake Funeral Chapel, 1925 SE Scott St. Milwaukie, OR 97222. A reception will be held at the funeral home immediately after the service. Following the reception, a graveside committal with military honors, is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery.
