Kay Charlene Lally was born in Portland, OR on December 6, 1938, to George and Charlotte Fetrow. Kay grew up in the Alameda Neighborhood of Portland, and graduated from Grant High School in 1956. On December 4, 1959 she married Melvin Lally. They recently celebrated their 51st Wedding Anniversary. Kay loved animals, especially her \u0026quot;Back Yard\u0026quot; Wildlife. She appreciated the activities of the Audubon Society in Portland and loved to go fishing in her favorite spot at the family cabin on the Siletz River. Kay loved being a Wife, Mother and Grandmother; she was an excellent cook and watched the cooking channel on TV so she could try out new recipes. She loved to read and work in her yard and garden. Kay is survived by her Husband Melvin, Daughter; Leanne Pein (Rick), Sons; Gregg Lally (Connie), and David G. Lally, Grandchildren; Katie and Sarah Pein. She was preceded in death by her only sibling, Leanne Thorpe, and her Grandson Geoffrey Pein. Contributions may be made in her memory to; The Portland Rescue Mission or the Audubon Society. Private Cremations Services were performed by Peake Funeral Chapel. Family Inurnment will be held at Willamette National Cemetery at a later date."",
