Kathryn Yvonne Girtle

Kathryn Y. Girtle of Gladstone, Oregon passed away on March 22, 2014. Kathryn was born in Portland, Oregon where she lived most of her life. She was a loving mother and grandmother with a twinkle in her eye and a generous heart. She loved gardening and cooking, Blazer games, knitting and crocheting, and spending time with her family and beloved pets. She owned and operated a tap line cleaning company in the 90\u0027s, and also worked together with husband Robert Girtle in the family businesses of both El Toucan and Girtle\u0027s restaurants. Kathryn is survived by mother June Pantano, brother Kevin Pantano, son Derek and daughter-in-law Glenna, daughter Janelle Schneider and son-in-law Andrew; and her grandchildren, Anna Girtle, Ethan Girtle, Karla Moeller, and Luca Citroen. We are thankful for the gift of her life and the blessing of the time we spent with her. A memorial service will be held honoring Kathryn on Thursday, April 10th at 2:00pm at Willamette National Cemetery, 11800 SE Mt. Scott Blvd. Portland, OR."",
