June Hinkson, age 80, was a long time resident of the Logan/Oregon City area. She passed away peacefully on July 9, 2018. June was preceded in death by her parents, William and Irene Chipman and her husband, Stephen Hinkson.
June was born in Portland, Oregon on the 30th of April 1938. She graduated from Gresham High School before marrying and moving to the family farm, where she raised three daughters. She was an avid horsewoman, who loved being in her yard, collecting antiques and trips to the Oregon Coast. She was deeply devoted to her family and friends. June worked for over 30 years for the Clackamas Water District, retiring at age 70.
She is survived by her three daughters, Julie and husband, Eric of Milwaukie, Stephanie and husband, Daryl of Happy Valley, Kim and husband, Chris of Comfort, Texas; brother, Richard and wife, Joyce; step-brother, Walter; six grandchildren, Jeremy, John, Kathy, Kristin, Caitlin, and Tori; eight great-grandchildren, Addison, Anthony, Cody, Depri, Gabe, Lennon, Talaiya, and Theodore.
