Joseph Daniel Asti

Our beloved Joe was born on August 1, 1943, to Adelmo Joseph \u0026quot;Jack\u0026quot; and Katherine Rose (Berkey) Asti in Milwaukie, Oregon. Joe was a devoted Catholic who grew up working and playing on his family vegetable farm on Lake road in Milwaukie. Joe completed some college before joining the military where he served as a reserve for six years (1964-70) in Fort Ord, California during the Vietnam War. Joe was employed by US West/Quest and Kaiser Permanente where he served dutifully as a transportation supervisor for thirty years and 16 years respectively, before retiring in 2009. In his leisure, Joe enjoyed driving his many loved vehicles on country back roads (as well as washing them rain or shine) and spending time hunting and fishing. He enjoyed gardening, listening to country music, eating popcorn and spending time with his wife Carolyn, his 5 daughters and 10 grandchildren. Joe leaves to cherish his memory many loving relatives and friends. He departed this life on November 14th 2017."",
