John Perez Galindo

It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. John Perez Galindo announces his passing on Sunday, November 10th, at the age of 68.
John will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life of 51 years, wife Nancy and his children, Sarah (John) and Laura. John will also be affectionately remembered by his four grandchildren, Isabel, Maya, Laylah, and Quincy; and his brother, Dale (Shirley). John was preceded in death by his loving grandmother and mom.
John went back to school later in life to pursue his Doctorate in Psychology from Pacific University. John's passion was helping others. Being able to make that his career brought him so much joy.
Papa, as he was lovingly called by his grandchildren, was their biggest fan, no matter the activity. He could be found cheering loudly from the sidelines, encouraging artistic endeavors, or taking them on outings.
An avid golfer, John found any excuse to get out on the course. This past year he achieved his life-long dream of a hole-in-one.
A celebration of John's life will be held 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 25th at The Aerie at Eagle Landing, 10220 SE Causey Ave., Happy Valley, OR 97086. A reception will follow.
