John Eliott Battin

Born in Portland, Oregon. John passed away peacefully at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. John was a longstanding business icon to the Lents and Battin district of SE Portland. The Battin area was homesteaded in 1860 by his grandfather Con Battin. John is survived by his longtime companion Sandy Lawrence, ex wife; Sharon Battin, Business Partner: Lloyd Williamson, and daughter: Laura Battin. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 @ 1:30pm @ Willamette National Cemetery followed by a full wake at the VFW Hall #4248.
