Jean Ida Marie Ranieri

Jean Ida Marie was born August 30, 1925 in Pendleton, OR to Oscar and Sylvia (Herrala) Taskinen. She attended Amity High School, in 1944 she married, Victor Ranieri in Grenada, MS. She moved to Milwaukie in 1990 and was a member of Milwaukie Lutheran Church. Jean worked a variety of different jobs including a CNA for Providence Portland and Eastmoreland General and retired from working at the Union Gospel Mission. She is the mother of Teresa Weeks, Larry Ranieri, Dan Ranieri and Jim Robinson; sister of Richard Taskinen, Ila Schuchardt and Ellen Farrington, grandmother of eleven and great grandmother of six. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor and brother, Benjamin Taskinen. A Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Milwaukie Lutheran Church, Milwaukie, OR. Private inurnment will be held at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR. The family suggests remembrances in her memory to Disabled American Veterans in care of the funeral home.
