James Clarence Marrs

James Clarence Marrs was born on May 24, 1941 in Portland, Oregon to Bessie Osgood and Jack Marrs.  He passed away at home on April 25th, surrounded by family.



Jim was father to two daughters, Barbara Marrs McKay (deceased) and Diane Marrs Lang; grandfather to three grandchildren, James Lang, Branden Lang, and Mason Lang.



Jim was married to Josie Marrs, who passed away in 2021.   They were married for 43 loving years.  Together they had a combined family of 7 children, 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.



Jim was a truck driver and worked at Portland Road Paving for close to 20 years.  Then he purchased his own dump truck and was self-employed until retirement.



He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, camping, fishing and hunting, and working in his shop making crafts with his wife Josie.



Jim will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, father-in-law, and friend.  He was an honest man who would help anyone in need.



He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
