James Dean Duncan

James Duncan was born on June 15, 1945, in Laramie, Wyoming. He was the son of Clarence and Norma Duncan. He is survived by his wife, Mary Duncan of Milwaukie Oregon; brother, Stephen Duncan and husband, Franck Olivier Duncan of Los Angeles, California; and his stepson, Tony and Carrie Hanauska of Tigard, Oregon.

James lived a full life with his wife, Mary, who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in March. He was an avid collector of trains and various antiques. He served in the United States Air Force in the special forces division and was stationed in Istanbul, Turkey. His last career was as a long-haul truck driver, which he did for many years of his life until his retirement. Once retired he traveled with his wife and family to various destinations around the world.

A memorial service will be held 2pm, Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Stehn Family Chapels Milwaukie Tribute Center.
