James was born in Naponee, Nebraska. He worked in dry cleaning, maintenance. James is survived by his son, James H. Chapman, son, Richard D. Chapman, daughter, Patricia I. MIller, daughter, Xantha K. Pesheck, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. A public funeral service will be held at Peake Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 13 th at 2:00 pm."",
