Jack was born June 20, 1923 to Christine and John Marsh in Kalispell, Montana. He grew up in the Montavilla area of Portland and enlisted in the National Guard at the age of seventeen. He fought in the Pacific and was discharged in 1945. He worked for Greyhound, then as a truck driver, and finally as an engraver. Jack married Darlene Burroughs on May 22, 1953. They have three girls - Jan, Karen and Trudie, sons-in-law Garry and Jeff, grandchildren Tiffany, Greggory, Nicole and Haley, and great-grandchild, Lucy. Jack also leaves a brother, Erwin Marsh."",
