Irene Bohlman

May 13, 1920 — May 24, 2019

Irene Bohlman passed away at home with family in attendance after a very brief illness.

Irene was the daughter of Henry and Gertie (Olson) Gluen and was raised in Milwaukie, with a short time in Seattle while her father, Henry built homes.  She graduated from Milwaukie High School with perfect attendance and then went to business school.  After working for Lambert Gardens, she moved to Alaskan Novelty Company where she led the company while the owners traveled for business.  After dating for four years during WWII, she married Wesley C. Bohlman in 1947.  They raised their two daughters, Suzanne and Diane in Milwaukie while she helped her parents with Gluen's Tigridia Bulb Gardens.  She loved to travel to the Oregon Coast and made several Let's Go Travel trips with Wesley after retirement.  Wesley passed away in 2004.

She leaves behind her daughters, Suzanne Hall, MD and husband, Donald, Diane Tucker and husband, Tom; granddaughter, Heather Hall; grandson, David Hall and wife, Brooke; great-grandchildren (whom she loved and lived for), Wednesday Burke Farrington, Tommy Burke, Bryan Williams, Quinn and Tosh Hall, and Destinee Hall; The Republican Party; and the Trail Blazers.
